Your path to becoming a tool mechanic

The versatile “supreme discipline” among the metalworking professions – for those who want it all: Grinding, lathing, milling, drilling, manual work.

  • Duration of training: 3½ years
  • Team of approx. 16 apprentices
  • Our own DR. KAISER training workshop with modern equipment
  • Interesting work assignments in the various production areas (grinding center, machining center, ceramic production, electroplating, diamond setting, spindle systems and quality assurance, design)
  • Exciting & challenging – manufacturing diamond tools: working for the technology leader and with the hardest material in the world
  • Made in Celle: all company divisions and production facilities are centralized at the Celle and Celle-Altenhagen sites

Apprenticeship program at DR. KAISER

In the first year of training, the basic skills of filing, drilling, countersinking and reaming are taught in the in-house training workshop. The apprentices are then introduced to working with the lathe, milling machine and grinding machine. In the subsequent years of training, our apprentices pass through all departments and thus learn the precise manufacture and design of tools.
