While the economic situation is forcing many companies to introduce short-time working or cut and relocate jobs in Germany, DR. KAISER Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH & Co. KG is using this challenging time to position itself for the future: A second management level now relieves Managing Directors Edmund Kellermann (center) and Dr.-Ing. Dirk Hessel (right) in their day-to-day business: in addition to authorized signatory Sylvia Mertens as Commercial Director (2nd from left), Dr. Steffen Schulze (left) as Head of Product Realization and Head of Sales Christoph Müller (2nd from right) have also been granted power of attorney.
The long-term commitment to and expansion of the German site in Celle-Altenhagen is not just a decision of the heart, but the expertise of the DR. KAISER team and the close cooperation at the site is and remains one of the decisive competitive advantages on the market.
In order to give all 360 employees a reliable perspective, the management team relies on the following strategies:
- Expansion of the position as a system partner and technology leader for all aspects of the grinding zone: dressing and grinding tools, spindle systems, wear protection and application technology
- Broad positioning across various industries: automotive & commercial vehicles, aviation, energy, medical technology, drive technology, tool technology, robotics & automation and grinding machine manufacturers (OEMs)
- Centralization of structures and production capacities at the Celle-Altenhagen site: Following the construction of the electroplating center (2023) and grinding center (2018), the central logistics center was inaugurated and the grinding center expanded this year.
- “Shaping the future: together & now!” Under this motto, we are not only supporting our customers and partners from industry and research with the current challenges, but are also focusing internally, in the new structures, on the active participation and commitment of each individual DR. KAISER employee and on strengthening the international sales network: Following the annual kick-off event for the German-speaking team, all global representatives will come together in Celle in June.
